Liverpool shareholder Steve Morgan has reiterated his calls for the club to find new investment after alleging the Reds are more than £70m in debt.
It seem Liverpool need to be bought up if their new stadium is to be build

Wow? That alot , but they can overcome that , I believe Barca are €200 million debt and they are doing fine ,
But maybe offload some players , Chelsea made a bid of 35million for Gerrad , that would have cleared halv the dept. i read somewhere that madrid wanted to give 18million Xabi ?

Hmmm. The words "vested" and "interest" always appear in the forefront of my mind as soon as I see the words "Steve" and "Morgan".
Besides - so what? Arsenal are nearly £150m in debt. United are carrying a load of half a billion. Debt itself is not the issue - your ability to service it is. Even in the highly doubtful case that Morgan is right, we would still be comfortably able to manage such debt if our background in such matters is anything to go by.
