Why do the revs like the all white kits? There is nothing Rev about them, and they seem to be hated not only by us fans, but also the rest of the league fans who dislike the all white away kits. Brad Feldman stated that they where trying to persuade the league to where the whites at MLS Cup 2005 but was overruled. How much luck did we have with the white kits? Is it a superstitial (sp?) thing, or do they really like the way they look

Well, the team IS called the Revolution, and as many ppl have pointed out the last month, maybe the Revs, sensitive to the British fans and not wanting to "offend" anybody, chose white as their favorite color.

You know... ethnic pandering to whitey. :D ;)

I guess they liked the white kit because they were different.

I really don't care when a fan from another team says that those white kits are bad and are "running the league into the ground". That's plain silly.

Personally, I liked the all white a lot better last year than in 04 because they didn't have those outrageous green and yellow sierra mist patches on them.

I wouldn't mind if the revs chose to wear white as their primary kits because their unique blue shirt/blue shorts/ red socks is three years removed. However, as Brad pointed out, MLS won't allow it.

MLS should concentrate more on the product on the field instead of what said product is wearing.

Yeah, who do you think advocated wearing the kits? :)

Well maybe it's really just a person opinion, which i assumed was universal around rev fans and others. My view is that a team has a set color scheme that they represent. I would much rather us wear the blue jerseyies since the revs are a mainly blue team, with red as the secondary, and white as the universal third color. I look at that Khano pic in the all white and all i see is a white t-shirt with Rev insignia all over it. Personally I think white is pretty bland and has no character. I watch the Revs on tv, and the whites just look boring. I'll take all lue over all white anyday.

I remeber someone stating that by always wear white on the road, it takes away the color representation of the away team. I personally would love to see the revs run around in all blueas much as possable, which is why I was personally shocked to hear that we wanted to wear white at the MLS cup.

Now i'm just curious... You have $65, and the proshop has blue and white jersies. which do you buy?

I'm gonna get crucified by Jim for this...

I'd love to see them do something like a man city light blue for a 3rd jersey

If the revolutionary colors are "red, white and blue" why can't we wear blue tops, red shorts and white socks?

And when we need to change when we play in KC (or anywhere else), why not just alter what color we wear on what part of the body? In other words, why can't we be "red, white and blue" all the time?

No, Chicago does that, we can do better.

Dare to be different - red with green and white accents. Nod to the flag.
