Lost! :( 4-3. I actually had an amazing shot (rare since I generally hang back for defense) that the keeper bobbled and I thought it might have a chance to go in..........but a hard fought match. Sucks to lose though.

They have several really good players and a good keeper. The games tend to be very physical with them since we are pretty evenly matched in the skillz department!

And a good keeper is HUGE in indoor. Its like having two keepers. We have a good one this year and its made a tremendous difference.

Yup Co-ed Over 23 Competitive is the league I play in.....but if my team was not sponsored and paid for by my company, I would probably play in the over 30 league......the pace of the games would be a bit slower which would help me! :D

We have a great keeper as well, but it does not help if all the guys want to score goals and don't track back to help me in defense....... :rolleyes:
But I do love playing!

I noticed the Hall Co (where we're moving to) Recs Dept. has an Over 37 8v8 league. 37? I hate the idea of playing in the Seniors division before age 40, but this might be safe enough to actually bring me out of retirement!

My guys are all great players individually but they do not necessarily look for the easy pass.....very frustrating at times!

Have you managed to play out at Silverbacks park yet? I'm about to end my injury layoff but I think my team is going to try to enter Division II. We did well in Division I.....but we're sick of getting beat by....well......the Beat.

I have played a few matches at Silverbacks-our women's team plays at least once a season there! We have been moved up to Div 2 in my womens league so time will tell when the new season starts in 2 weeks!
