i dont think barthez could of done anything about the two goals bu i dont understad y ppl booed him??
Boumsong sucks in the middle and what happened to evra???
and y was alou diarra playing central defensive mid while pat vieira was playing right mid i mean wtf?? and the first goal looked like it was his fault too?? i dont understand y alou diarra gets called up when u have a makalele and vieira on the same team, y not sacrifice dhorasoo for ribery?!?!

All great points ESPECIALLY the point about sacrificing Dhorassoo for Ribery.
L'Equipe is basically calling for his removal from the squad. We'll see if Ray does it or not. Calling Ribery up for the next game would be very encouraging.

Calling Ribery up for the next game would be very encouraging.i was very surprised to see vikash play for france, and more surprised to see how well he did in 2005, he was MOTM a couple of times. a bit sad, but less surprised to see him uneven now.
and honestly, ribery is a very good player but he's far from the saviour of the the EdF. i'd bring pires back first. but i think it's more important to get some continuity in the squad than find another new possibility.

Pires is done. He hasn't been the same player the past 2 years. Ribery is livewire that can turn a game on its head. France doesn't have that kind of impact on its bench right now.

Yeah, I agree. The problem with France is that althought the veterans have been very good at giving the team some experience and stability, they lack the energy and unpredictablity that some younger attacking players can provide. France needs more attacking midfielders and someone like Ribery, more than Pires (who is a known quantity and easy to defend against) can provide. France needs creativity, passion, and a energy. Ribery is a dynamo who can run all day and never get tired. France could use him. Maybe he would'nt be a SAVIOR, but still a crucial piece that is missing.

Domenech prefers Dhorasoo and Govou, but Ribery should realy be called up and Guily too.
We don't need that much DMF, 3 is enough. Makelele, Viera and Diarra.
