I predict the US, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the surprise team will be Canada.

naw if anything USA and Mexico are in for sure...... the other 2 spots are up for grabs, COSTA RICA,HONDURAS,GUATEMALA,JAMAICA,T&T AND EVEN PANAMA are all strong contenders. To say Costa Rica as a third spot, is like saying El Savador 1982.

honetly its to early
if your not american or mexican, if you think about it there is 1.5 spot up for grabs between the teams mentioned above
Cr won't be the same , there core base will be gone, and we dont know much of the newcomers, or if they will have success, if you think bout some of the young guys faired well during the Wcq cause they had a guided hand of wanchope and bala gomez, and some other veteran players
to be honest the CR team would of tied in san jose to guatemala if is were for paulo wanchope late winner.
like i said they had the golden generation so there no way you can give CR a 75% of taking the 3rd spot in 2010

I keep saying that CR base players will be retire by 2010, I havent seen youth players with talent coming out of CR at this point. CR has been heavily relying on older veterans , some might say CR is at its twilight with this World Cup. After that the future looks dark....... not just for CR but for every team thats gonna try to qualify to South Africa.

Our core for the 2010WCQ will be our 2004 Olympic team, plus some other rising stars like C.Bolanos, B.Ruiz and others from the new U21 team.
Porras, gomez, marin, centeno and chope will be gone, which is perfect, now DeLemus, Bolanos, Umana, Hernandez and Saborio wil be starting.

I see the US and Mexico has clear favorites.
I think CR will still have enough quality. And, I see Yallop in Canada finally getting the Canadians organized enough to put some results together. They have good players but have been too unorganized with players all over the world.
1 US
2 Mexico
3 CR
4 Canada

It will be tough.... If we get four spots again, I could see 8 or 9 countries possibly getting in.

Either Mexico or USA will not make it and i have a feeling it will be USA,
I know you all think I'm crazy by saying this, but surprises happens everywhere, take Africa for example this year. and it has happened in Concacaf before too.
I wouldn't consider Costa Rica as regular just yet and I agreed with most of you about their future.
I believe Honduras will finally play as a team and not so much individually and make it along with Canada who are quietly building a good competitive group.

You are making me nervous.... I want to know more....
I know surprises happen. And, I think Canada, Hondorus, Jamaica, etc... will be better.
Why do you think the US will not qualify?

*rolling on the floor laughing my ass off*
"Yeah, right and monkeys might fly out of my butt." Concacaf is nothing like Africa. The African powers problem lies within their FA's. The USSF has done an excellent job with the national team. I think you'd have to be a fool to count either Mexico or the US out. Most likely it's just wishfull thinking on your part.

You never know a coah may come in with Mexico and the US and upset alot of star players and espically with the US as more players go to Europe the harder it will be for these players to play in matches for the NT.
US
Mexico
Canada or Costa Rica

USA, Mexico
The rest depends on how the qualifying process is determined. I have a feeling that it will be tweaked next time around.
Final group of 8?
2 final groups of 4/6?
who knows?
