Has anyone heard a prognosis on Pat's injury from last night?

Six weeks pulled hamstring is what I read on another thread.
I will look for the link.

Noonan out, Klein in (http://www.ussoccer.com/articles/viewArticle.jsp_280748.html) Stupid decision to leave him in the game may scuttle his WC aspirations.

If he was gassed, then he should have come out. A player will hardly ever tell you to take them out when they are playing poorly or gassed. The manager needs to be following the game. Or have we gone back to the dark ages of soccer, where there were no substitutes allowed?

I think Nicol is probably thinking about the CCC, so he played his best 11. Should he have sat Twellman, Noonan and Dempsey? Did Noonan have a pre=existing injury? I wasn't at the game, so I couldn't tell if he was gassed. I'm going to trust Nicol to make that call.
That said, this sucks for the Noonan, the Revs, and the Rev/US fans (in that order)

I must have missed Feldman saying that Noonan was gassed, as I don't remember this. Hell, he should be one of the three guys in the best shape on this team.

Agreed definitely. God, I can just see the comments that people like myself would be making if he had sat out those three. You play to win.

Agreed totally. I feel for Pat ... :(

I don't believe that the Foxsports report is all that real. Sorry, it happened quite close to game time and it is not supported with any quotes from anyone on the Revs.
So, I guess the question is: "Do we have a corroborated report on Noonan's injury?"

Note that the FoxSoccer article is an AP article. FWIW

Not yet. Hopefully word will come from Soccer NewEngland or somebody close to the team before too long.

for some people, every decision is stupid, if its made by the revs.

Revolution's Noonan sidelined 3 to 5 weeks by hamstring

"It's grade one so it's mild, relatively speaking, but they are always extra careful when a hamstring is involved," [Noonan] said.

righty then. how'd you feel about subbing noonan at teh MLS cup final? That was actually pretty crazy. I was on a date that day, so I taped the final and watched it later (about 3 weeks later, actually). I don't know if this was discussed at the time on the Revs boards, but you could very audibly hear Noonan say something to the effect of "c'mon stevie, you gotta be kidding me. c'mon stevie" as he was subbed out of the game.

Well, better than six weeks. :(
So he's out for the US/Poland match, and the second leg of our series. He could be back in time if the Revs were to make it to the next round though, and should be ready for the season opener, so that's a good thing at least.
