Hello, i have with the help of some bigsoccer MLS fans compiled an ALL TIME database of all the clubs from 1996 to 2005 (i added 2004-2005 seasons) HOWEVER with the advent of Houston 1836 and the demise of San Jose should i make 2 separate sheets for the teams or keep them together as it is the same 'franchise' but moved to a different state/city.

i have it in excel so it is easy to chop and change.

i will throw up a poll to see what fellow MLS and statistical fans think.

cheers

Houston is officially a seperate team. Don Garber announced during the move that's how it would be treated, and that's what I'm doing for my lineup database.

yeah true, i mean it is not like Dallas last year when it was a simple name and kit change.

If San Jose is being moved to Houston, keep the stats the same. If the Clash players are being dispersed in a draft and Houston is building an entirely new team from scratch keep them separately.

There is no debate here. Houston's stats/records are officially seperate from San Jose's.
