Being from the states and just now being able to afford 1/2 decent cable that broadcasts more than 1 game from England, I don't know too much about the football and all related aspects accross the pond. However it deeply fascinates me. I picked up "The Football Factory" this past weekend, very surprised to find it in rural Alabama. Is this an accurate depiction of what hooliganism is really like, or just typical Hollywood style hype??

I just rented the Football Factory and found it fascinating.
From my understanding, groups like the Headhunters aren't any where near as big or powerful as they were in the 80s and early 90s. For that reason, I would expect that this type of hooliganism is pretty rare these days
That being said, I too am an American, and everyone else viewing this can feel free to smack me upside the head and correct any misconceptions I have. I've been to two matches at Stamford Bridge, one at Craven Cottage, and a couple in Italy and have never seen anything remotely like the stuff in the movie.
May I direct your attention here. (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7186447&postcount=2)
