Cat. 4 restrictions question

Hey all,
Here's a question - I have 2 tickets to US-GHA and potential round-of-16 from USSF, and they're Cat. 4. Does that mean I can only get ONE match through FIFA Phase IV now, since cat 4's are supposed to be limited to 3 matches? I hope not because I've gotten 3 through Phase IV already. Do you think FIFA will cross-check the tickets USSF distributed?

I think it could roll over , but I dont know . But if you need to seel your tickets from USSF on here ,i doubt youll have a problem . I also got usa-ghana cat 4 , hope I see you there !

That's the thing - it would give me the choice of seeing up to 3 games (2 with US) or up to 7 of any teams. I would choose the US of course, but it sucks that I might have to make that choice. I'm going to try to get US-GHA cat1-3 through FIFA too, in which case I will sell my USSF cat4s to someone here.

To further your question, I wonder whether it matters if we APPLIED for Cat. 3 and got Cat. 4 tickets as a result of checking the "I'm desparate, I'll take any tickets you'll give me" box on the application. When I called in last week to get the name changed on one of the three pair of tickets I was allotted through USSF (which were all Cat. 4), she made sure to indicate that I applied for Cat. 3 even though I was allotted Cat. 4. She made it sound as if they are submitting our APPLICATION to FIFA, then telling them which tickets we were allotted.

So I would think that if you applied for Cat. 1-3 through USSF but got Cat. 4 that you should also be able to apply for the remainder of the 7 games in Cat. 1-3 in this phase...but that's just my thoughts on that.

I don't think it matters what you applied for, it's what you got.

Since I was alloted cat. 3 tickets to the round of 16 and quarterfinals through the USSF, I'm thinking that I'm now not elegible for any extra cat 4 tickets they may have (only cat 1-3).

Judging by the FIFA rules, I'd say you can only get cat 4 tix from now on, but I could be wrong.
