How much experience would you expect a 21-year-old who's been a first-teamer since he was 17 to have? Poor?

yeah, maybe. Some take longer to acquire in experience. Mainly a factor of how many league/cup games they played in. Usually a youngun has few opportunities to crack the starting lineup until he gets skilled enough.

How much experience would you expect a 21-year-old who's been a first-teamer since he was 17 to have? Poor?
I'll give you an example from my experience.
I pulled a 21 yo Solid Keeper my first season (25) in HT (week 5 or 6). When pulled of course he had disastrous XP. He has played all League/Cup/Qualifiers for my team, except injuries, and now has 50 competitive matches. He went to Poor XP at the beginning of this season, which was just before his 3 season anniversary with my team.
In your question, I think Poor would be a very realistic achievement with Weak/XP being attainable as well in 4 seasons of play.

Going to be rolling in dough, probably the most I've ever had once the sale of my WC IM is complete. I'm not sure what I'll do with the money. I'm hoping to get 3.5M for him at the least and I guess I'll pick up a high-level trainee but other than that I'll just keep the money.
Any thoughts on what I should look for in an expensive trainee?

good secondaries? i guess i'd look for good passing, stamina, and defending

Pah. My Mag midfielder just sold for 1.8 mil while over 30k were online and nothing on the transfer compare had gone for under 2M. Oh well.
I now have 2 mill in the bank and need to upgrade my defense ratings. Right now I'm playing a passable keeper, 2 passable experianced WBs, and a excellent CD. Would I be better off buying two outstanding defenders or an outstanding keeper?
