Yes I do know that. I guess talking to your girlfriend on the phone is easier because she doesn't know that you're daydreaming and spacing out. Talking to her face to face is much harder because you have to keep up the charade of caring.

No, I was referring about some other girl, which I must admit wasn't a very good road to go down anyway, but it was a nice diversion. Unfortunatelly, all my 'girl friends' don't have many friends up here that I would have any interest in.

Well the circumstance you cite is the rare one in which the girl actually lets you get in a word at some point. Fortunately, I've never had that problem, I've dated shallow, pretty girls who are spoiled and self-centered. You can't find any different around here, so I guess I can count myself lucky.

Translation: there are no real relationships in SoCal, just f-buddies. I'm convinced of it.
