Iran vs Argantina Friendly

according to some Iranian newspaper, Iran has invite ARGANTINA to play a friendly somewhere in Mei AFA has aske iranian fedration to pay 60% of fee that afa want before the game in afa acount and than they will play them in iran... iran has accept to pay the 60%.... i think they are not strong enough for argantina but it is a good test for argantina B team for players that still Pekerman wants to try before WC....what do you guys thinkg about it?

p.s i live in Holland but i hope we are gonna crash holland with 4-0 in WC and i can lough to every body here:-)

Would perhaps be a good opportunity to play the likes of Aguero and Palacio if this games does happen.

I would like to see Argentina play someone like Denmark, they are similar to Holland but not as good.

i think Belgium is the best team to compere with holland they are more similar than Denmark but also weaker

The 2 teams have met once before. A few weeks prior to the start of the 78 WC (which you won), Iran played Argentina and the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Over all Iran has almost always owned South American opponents, winning records against Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela etc only SA team to have ever beaten Iran is Peru! :)

well Iran can posibbly be the opponent of Argantina in the 2nd round so it isn't bad.

argentina originally wasnt going to do it cause of the anti-semetic things going on in the country of iran but in the end money defeats anything in argentina so there will be a friendly.:D :confused:

Argantina haven't even qualified for the world cup so why would they need to play any warm up games for Germany? :D
