That's interesting. Capello imo is by far the best coach in the world, and may make a very good NT manager. But then again, his somewhat "boring", albeit extremely effective style may not very popular among the fans. What do you think about this possibility?

That would be interesting how that goes over in Italy.

Guy is awesome, him or Hiddink for me.
All this must be British is crap, tell me who would you rather have Big Sam or Cappello? No contest.

Well, right now I don't see any better coaches out there. He's won everywhere he's been in different leagues with different teams.

It won't happen. The FA know who they want and it's not Capello.

Having English as his first language would be a great start.
Oh, wait, is it politically correct to even say that anymore

Capello, Hiddink, or Sam would be good choices. I have this weird feeling though that for some reason, Stuart Pearce is where they are heading. I hope I am wrong....

what has he won on a international stage?
He's never coached a national team and in my opinion is not suited
for it but you do know he's won the Champions League (in addition
to a dizzying number of domestic titles)?
Not the greatest tactician, but he squeezes the best performances
out of his players week in, week out. That is why at club level he is
so good, internationally his great virtues would be lost in translation,
I think.

oh i know that and that's why i asked that rhetorical question. And that's exactly why Big Sam would be as ideal for that position. Granted, he hasn't won those titles as Capello did, but he brings out the best in Bolton players week in and out, except Diouff, who is a wanker anyways. Plus, he is English.
