I had doubts about JJ when Jol signed him but after he settled in and regained his confidence, i knew Jenas was a great buy. 5 goals shows he likes getting involved in the goalscoring. keep up the great work JJ.

Yeah. I wasn't sure how he was going to fit in, but he's getting forward and having a poke. He's a quality player. Toon will miss him in the long run.

I'd like to see him in a settled position rather than switching about a lot. For me it'd be Jenas playing with Carrick in the middle.

Jenas struggled at first to win over the Tottenham supporters (which can be difficult), but he has now settled into the team in not his ideal position.
Davids has only got this season and possibly next season left at Tottenham.

On the left for me (but tucking inside when Lee goes forward). The combination of him and Lee has looked very good at times.

Yeah, we all know Johnnie Jackson is a legend, but did we really need another thread praising him?
Yes. Yes we did.

Jermaine has had his troubles early in the season, but he looks more and more settled as the season move forward. And lets not forget that he (and I) turns 23 years old tomorrow. He's still young with a lot of great seasons in front of him. As am I!:)
I agree that he's out of position, but he will only have to toil on the right for one more season, because Davids just can't last forever (or can he?) I think the Carrick-Jenas pairing is going to be wonderful in our future (or possibly even Huddlestone-Jenas). And when he moves to the middle, Aaron Lennon should be just about ready to settle in as our full-time player on the right.
He's physically very gifted, and he shows a lot of commitment during the games. I think his reading of the game and his touch with the ball will continue to improve as he continues playing in such a great midfield for a great manager like Jol. I'll admit I wasn't over excited when we dished out all that money, but I think he'll make it come good over the next several years.

In a few years he and Huddlestone will be a great midfield partenership (awaits spirited response from Digital). ;)
He's been one of our most important players this season. Glad we have him.

He started off slow at Tottenham but got better and better, he's starting to score a fair few goals now and the stats show this season he's been good.

...I'd like him to have a settled role. But I think he has the pace and skill to make a quality RW which would leave room for big tom or Murphy to fit in with Carrick in the middle....although I suppose it probably would be an ideal situation if he could be in the middle.....got to love the choices eh?
either way I have been pro JJ since I heard we maybe signing him, hope he keeps up the good work.

I'm not sure Huddlestone is really suited to playing the left wing. If he isn't playing there, I just can't see him displacing Carrick in the middle or Lennon on the right. ;)
As for Jenas ... I hope he continues to develop his knowledge and timing on the final pass.

Yes indeed...2-18-83. My mother was 2-19-55, and I think she deserves a Spurs win on her special day!

The number one single in the charts when you were born (in Britain), was 'Too Shy' by Kajagoogoo.
In the US, it was 'Baby, Come To Me' by Patti Austin and James Ingram.
Gaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy!

Back on topic, I agree with everything that has been said so far about JJ. He will turn out to be a massive acquisition for us.
One element of his game that I would like to see improve is his agression. Back in the day he was being touted as the English Vierra. Well, he can pass like Vierra, run like him, take on players like him and even score like him too. But with Davids getting on, we'll be missing a certain bite in midfield. Would be fantastic if Jenas could add that to his arc as well in the next season or two.
