67" - Another bad error in the Bolton midfield, Cana starts the counter and lays a nice little throughball into Niang. Too much on it, and it goes too far for the striker.
About time Fernandez made a change I think.

68" - Ball in the box, Taiwo can't clear from under the nose of Vaz Te - the ball bobbles loose and Barthez nervously parries it clear.
heh, after another defensive scarmble, Barthez gets booked for dissent.
Marseille look very uncomfortable on these balls in the box.

0-0 would be okay for Marseille, but they would need to beat Bolton at the Velodrome. An away goal would give them a much healthier cushion imo.

84" Ribery shot wide from out on the left. Doesn't trouble the keeper.

91" - Stelios header - sidenetting. Gardner long ball into the box, Stelios beats the offside trap and his close range header at the far post goes into the side-netting.
....and Oruma shoots way way wide.

I think the boys in sky blue will be quite pleased with a 0-0 coming back to the velodrome....

Sir Alex Ferguson was there at reebok stadium.

There have been rumors attaching Nolan from Bolton with Manure. Back to the game not a bad result, they can steal the tie on away goals though, that's a bit scary. We should be able to beat them at the Velodrome if we cannot I guess we don't deserve to win the tournament anyway...

In ties that start 0-0 the qualification chances are exactly 50-50 since UEFA has tracked them.

Bolton will be pleased with that result, as in the return leg, the first goal is free.

Aye, 1-0 and 0-0 at home in the first leg are virtually the same result.

Statistically that hasn't played out. I just looked it up, and if the away team drew the first match 0-0 they have a 67% chance of advancing to the next round.
If the first result is 1-0 loss by the away team, their chances of qualifying drop to 40%
