I realize the season ends earlier this year thanks to FIFA trying to level preparation for the WC. It appears most of our players will be done by April 30th. (League Championship-- England, Holland). And premiership ends May 7th. When does Bundesliga wrap up?

How long after the end of season should BA give the Euro players before starting up Final WC Camp?

Do you give everyone a week off before starting camp or do you make camp easy in beginning to allow legs to rest, but start with team chemistry?

I was thinking BA will start camp for Final WC preparation on the weekend of May 5th -7th with other players joining shortly afterward.

What about the MLS players? How long do you leave them with their team before calling into camp?

Interesting questions.

I think BA should bring them right into camp to start to develop team chemistry with the Euro and MLS guys. But, he is smart enough to know not to push the Euro's hard since they just finished a long season. They can rest after we have another great run in the WC.

Regarding the MLS guys, I think he should bring them in at the same time or before the Euro players. I don't pull for any particular MLS team, so I don't care if it effects any particular team. I want him to, and I think he will, make whatever decisions are necassary for us to play as well as we are capable come WC time.

the euro guys who are playing major minutes since last autum through this spring could use a brief break...

someone like keller or beasley might need a week off to regenerate their engines....

it's all a function of minutes play and accumulated fatigue...

this would be a case by case basis...

gibbs or reyna might get a few days off....

I think the 1st half of May isn't the critical stage, but from May 15 on...

that's when all the revelant parties should be ready for the drive.....

match fitness should NOT be a factor by then, except for anyone coming off injury....

Am I the only one who's not terribly concerned about Chemistry because I dont think anybody who's in camp right now has really played their way into the starting XI with the possible exception of TT?

The core group remains the same as it was during WCQ... I'd say give the Euro guys some time off.
