I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off to take the fam' skiing. School is closed the next two days, plus Pres. Day (which is a holiday for my slacker non-profit workin' ass).
Just booked my airline tickets for London for the 'Pool match in March folks. :D
Big ups TG!

I've got to get one of those!
and soccernet needs to get a spellcheck!
It could be a viscous circle and if Arsenal do not find a quick fix for their problems before the end of the season they could face a painful, prolonged spell in the shadows of Spurs.
I hear Stalin was a viscous dictator. He was often referred to as "Sticky Man". :p

I just bought a ticket to see Umphrey's McGee tomorrow at the Nokia in Times sq.
hopephully I'll get a 'Phussy Dutchman' (my phav song by them)
Wonder if it will be better than the phirst time I saw them (the day I found out I was hired by my current company back in dec 04). Jeremy Piven joined them onstage to play percussion....that was sweet!

I kinda doubt that anything's going to top Ari on drums.

Umph is tomorrow night, right? In that case, I can't make it. I just found out I have less vacation time than I thought. Turns out that I only have 30.1 hours of vacation. :( Hopefully I'll earn another 10 by April.

I agree....although I'm listening to 'Anchor Drops' right now. It is a solid album...especially from such a young jamband.
Everyone's first encounter with the Umph should be live.

I only listened to Wolfmother a couple of times and they weren't bad. Need to listen to some more. I think they be one of those bands that grows on you. I wasn't so impressed with Cake the first time, but love their stuff now.

Accrual method. You have to work to earn vacation. It is the same at my office. It sucks though. I'd rather get the 2 weeks right up front. I guess it keeps people from taking the first 2 weeks of January off then quiting.

No, it doesn't work like that. I actually am eligible for 140 hours vacation a year, but I've only earned 30.1 hours so far. I've got 112 hours of sick, so I may end up having to dip into that for London.
