I was wondering if I could get the Board members' input on the best strategies for getting tickets when Phase 4 starts tomorrow. I'm sure not everyone wants to divulge their secrets, but maybe if we had a discussion about it, it could help everyone. I'm planning on being at work tomorrow at 6 am eastern (such a good employee) and being on my super fast connection and trying to get 3 for U.S./Italy. (I realize my chances are pretty slim.) What're people planning on doing? Having like 10 windows open and continually hitting F5/refresh at 5:59. I know doing stuff like this will get you kicked out on TicketMaster. And what about pasting the URL from the 'ordering single tickets' page and hitting refresh on that? When 6 am hits, are you then automatically in the system? Or will it just kick you out? I also didn't buy tickets in the previous rounds so I don't have a password. Is that going to be a problem?

Anyway, if I could get ideas from anyone about what the best strategy would be, I and probably some other people would be most appreciative. Thanks.

I would hope FIFA would be able to stop most of these backdoor ways like pasting the URL from before. Who knows though? I am planning on waking up at 5:55 and getting on the FIFA site. From there who knows what will happen. In the end, if I get tickets it is because I got lucky.

I'm going to do what I did last yer for U2 tickets on ticketbastard last year. Load the web site an hour early, and hit refresh neurotically.

Good luck to everyone!

The last time it was first-come, first-served, I hit which team I wanted, typed in all the info on the application, hit submit and got booted. This happened several times, so I wouldn't be surprised if this were to happen again...so be prepared to be disappointed after you go through the whole process (then get excited right before you hit submit...and viola, it's all for naught).
