That depends on what lady I decide to select tonight and how drunk she is. ;)
A pint of ether and a side shot of rohypnol, then?

Sapphire,

As a favor to the rest of us men. Any chance you can put together a brief pamphlet, hand-out, flyer, small novel, etc. about that it's ok for girls to love and follow soccer. There is a major problem in this country with women not appreciating the beautiful game as much as they should.

I'm doing what I can with trying to bring my g/f around, but for some reason I don't think it will work. I'm willing to accept that since she doesn't mind my early Sat mornings at the pub. Part of me thinks that most of it's due to the fact that she knows that there are so few women there. Not that it would matter to me, she's my Russian tulip.

So seriously, please write something, I know that I'll help with the distribution of it. Maybe we can even get Oprah involved!:D"Flick-On To The Female Heart: An Ode to Footy." I'm all over it, Ray.

I somehow feel inspired to write about why I love football right now. Maybe because it's Valentine's day. And this is the V-day thread!!

I love bending, curling shots.

I love build-up of play.

I love chisled quadriceps.

I love draws.

I love rain-soaked euro-mullets.

I love Alan Smith's bleeding face, and Wayne Rooney's exclamations.

I love Ruuuuuuuuuuud. And Gooooooooooooals.

I love waiting for the ********ing full time whistle.

I love biting on my nails and hiding my head under my collar before every corner, penalty, shot.

I love to hate the JOS and Tweety.

I love to talk back to the FSC Announcers.

I love listening to the game live, and watching a five-minute-delayed feed.

I love 6.30 on a Saturday morning, curling up under a blanket and trying to stay awake to watch the boys do it.

(Oh, there's so much more. . . )

I love United!!

But of course. Although in Dundee it is difficult to find someone who isn't already a grandmother. I think there is something in the water.

I love dirty uniforms
I love dodgy refs
I love falling back to sleep after we're 3 up
I love, when Ronaldo step-overs, he prances
I love the voices of Old Trafford blowing like the wind on the players' hair
I love little kids doing obscene gestures
I love waiting to see which card the ref'll pull out
I love shouting at those lying divers
I love the way the stadium shakes after a good penalty kick
I love Rio's braids
I love those ridiculous away kit socks
I love hating Arsenal City Pool Leeds
I love black armbands, and little kids running onto the pitch with their heroes

(I'll stop now, but there's more love. . . .)

I am nothing without your touch my love, I am nothing without your kiss.
To spend each night in your arms, my flower, is this man's idea of bliss.
To not hear your voice each day is to die seven times by God's wrath.
If I were anything other than human, my love - I would be the water in your bath.

I took a surprise day off yesterday to spend with my wife. Didn't cost me a thing, other than a vacation day of which I have plenty, and she really loved it. Now I can spend the extra money on my mistress.

As long as it's Valentine's Day, I'll take Saph's advice and be a little corny. You've meant so much to me this year. I don't know where I'd be without you. I'm glad that I've been able to open you up to new experiences and give you that little push when you've been down. Sometimes I can feel my arm reaching around you to pull you close. Don't ever leave me.

oh god, the mountain strikes again.

why did I know this would happen in this thread?

LOL, I got a suprise PDA today in the form of a peck on the cheek as part of an unexpected valentine's day present. I was a bit shocked cuz she hadn't really shown any thing toward me. I guess its just the Valentine's day blues. Anyway, I've got a completely un-expected Valentine's day date which I've got planned to perfection.

Chocolate and a single white rose, going to the movies to see Casanova and then a moon-light walk (fullish moon last night so it will be fullish again tonight).

I'm gonna get some nookie, I'm gonna get some nookie (yes, its been awhile).
