THIS will be a great game to watch! Our performance against Koln aside, I think we have the weapons to nip a win.

We'll perform differently at home. Plus, against teams like Bremen, we take on the role of fighting "inferior" team.

Will Amoah be starting this one or is he still out with that knock he got in Egypt?

I think the only way Amoah starts is if he's overwhelming in training.......

Borussia will probably play like this:

Weidenfeller - Degen, Brzenska, Wörns, Dede - Kehl - Rosicky, Kringe - Odonkor, Smolarek, Gambino (Buckley)

I can't tell you how glad I am that this game will be on FSC. Looking forward to another three points.

We'll need a lot of luck for that, but it can be done. We've done it before.

Why not take all 3? This team can do it. I'm genuinely optimistic.

You are permanently pessimistic :)

If you would be like Knolli from schwatzgelb.de chat I would say we win
whenever he says we loose ... we win
when he says we win ... we loose :)

1 ********ing lucky chance by Werder when we were attacking and they won it

if they would have made it during the phases they dominated it would be ok , but when the goal felt we dominated

We had so many chances to win that game it's not even funny. Bremen should feel extremely lucky to have won that.

And right again. We have no f#cking bite in our attack! You need a potent attack to beat a team like Werder!

I don't think Bremen should feel "extremely lucky' or even lucky. We didn't outplay them. I think they were the better team overall. They played with more control and took one of their few chances.

We were scrambling and seemed to only attack effectively through Odonkor, who has speed and crosses, but ball control not as good as my 13 year old daughter's.

On the play in the first half that should have been a goal for us that Odonkor flubbed the "pass" to Smolarek on, the "flub" was caused by a HORRIBLE first touch from Odonkor.

And all Smolarek did today was show why BvM and management are completely correct to want a TRUE central striker.

We fought hard and well and that's what I believe kept us in the match. When it comes to "class", I think that was clearly on Werder Bremen's side. We are getting there, but we aren't there yet.

We are playing well enough to beat good teams, but not if we don't ever put the fuc#ing ball in the back of the net!

It doesn't matter. When it comes to a 1-0 match, he who scores the goal, wins the match.

I think the team fought hard and well, but in the end, our own inability to finish is what doomed us......

I don't think we have anyone to blame but ourselves.

Well, maybe you're right. "Extremely lucky" could be a little far. However, I don't think they dominated the match. It was more of our poor finishing that cost us, in my opinion. If we could just get on the end of those crosses...

Read my response again. Nowhere did I say they dominated us. I said class was on their side. I thought they played a calmer, more organized match. They stayed within their game. We had to fight hard to play our game, but we did so.

And here's where we agree. Poor finishing cost us with Smolarek being the main culprit........

No, no, no. I never said you said they dominated us. I'm just saying what I saw in the game.

I don't see how you guys saw "luck". I saw a great shot that a great effort from Weidenfeller damned near stopped.

We lost and honestly we f#cking deserved to lose. We should have had three or four goals and squandered all the chances.

There's no excuse for that. None.
