I was thinking this...why the hell do I start dozing off at 10.30 PM at night after just closing my eyes once AND not only that it is not a proper doze because I keep banging my head on the headboard (no dirty jokes please)?? I am only twenty and always get a nine hour sleep. It is bloody annoying as there are good films at night;) and the football highlights on.
To make you insomiacs jealous I sleep through everything really-aeroplanes, banging etc.

I don't think any insomniac would be jealous of sleeping through sex:eek::D

I can't sleep through anything. Every little thing wakes me up. Although, BB, like you I'm on a tight sleeping schedule, but mine's earlier; I usually go to sleep by 9 and wake up around 4:30 . It sucks sleeping so early, but I do like being able to sleep through the night, so not complaining too much.

D'oh!
You missed the best set-up, danny (the banging head on the headboard).:D We must be careful with those things.

I am not exactly on a tight sleeping scedule in the week as from Monday to friday I tend to go to bed at 11pm and wake up at about 7am. During the weekend I work so I get up at 6.30 in the morning and on Sunday's that is after I have gone to bed past midnight.
I always find it best to keep going to bed at the same time all the time and I am not surprised that NM has had problems sleeping as drinking till five in the morning is not exactly going to add up to a night's sleep.
I wonder if most of the insomiacs drink too much coffee? Instead why don't you try a cup of tea before you go to bed? I do that all the time and I have never had problems nodding off (though my house is cold in the winter so it is best to have something before bed). Although recently I have had disturbed sleep due to the severe pain of ear infections etc so illness does not help.
