Not a lot new in this one although this article puts Philly in a positive MLS light compared to other MLS expansion candidates (i.e. Cleveland, Milwaukee, St. Louis, San Diego) which are supposedly cities overcrowded with sports teams without the sufficient personal income base to support another team.
The article mentions the top 10 cities ripe for an expansion team in a specific sport. LA getting a NFL team is #1, Philly getting a MLS team is #2. Rochester is the only other city in the top 10 that is ripe for MLS expansion team (i.e. Portland makes the Top 10 list but as a MLB expansion city candidate).
