Who do pepople think will come out on top? It's gonna be tight. England are home to Ireland this time which gives England the advantage but England have to go to Paris which could be the descider

Ireland have England and France away from home could prove costly i reckon.

Italy gave both Ireland and England a tough game in the last two weeks.

I think England will win the 6 nations, although as Colm says England's game against France will be the decider.

People counting out Scotland? They have been palying great under Frank Hadden. If they win in Cardiff on Sunday they got England at Muarryfield, Irleand in Dublin and Italy in Rome.

I hope (and think) that we will not see a grand slam this year.

also (slightly OT) that I play rugby for my High School team. I am a scrumhalf and the President of the club.

England have got lucky in both of their games so far. The scores have not really reflected the way the game went, but they did show their experience. The last 10 mins or so in each of the games have seen England score lots of unreturned tries.

By the way, i support Scotland :) Good against France and unlucky, and stupid, against Wales. Scott Murray. Pff.

Robinson is not a top coach, always feel there's a bad performance round the corner. The quality is there to bury the other teams though. The forwards are top class and the backs are playing closer to their ability this year.

Apparently, England have been using NFL tactics. I've no idea what this means.

Good stuff, i love it when England use tactics, tactics, tactics and total tactics like we did under Woodward

are team isn't as good as it was in 2003 but if we can win this 6 nations then we could build on from there for the next world cup

I don't know whether Martin Johnson works on the coaching side but he is NFL mad.

Johnson and David James (dodgy keeper) done a T.V. programme called 'Beyond the NFL', where they went to the Seattle Seahawks before the start of the last NFL season, they watched them practice and even had a go themselves, David James caught a couple and dropped a couple too, they also met the cheerleaders where David James made a complete idiot of himself :D

442 also did an article about David James trying out for the Miami Dolphins a few years ago.

Ronan O'Gara was offered a contract by them a couple of years ago to be their kicker.

It's a lot harder to kick an american football around because David James can kick a football pretty far, but when it came kicking an american football he only could kick just over 30yrds.

Aye, but O'Gara would have a definate advantage over James technique-wise...the shapes of rugby and American football balls are far more similar than to a soccer ball. James was probably kicking up in the air as much as forward. Here's a linkie I found (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/irish/2854671.stm). I remember crapping myself wondering if he was going to go to America (although it would have been interesting to see how he got on - there's been a similar trend in recent years for Aussie Rules clubs to come hunting for the best Gaelic football players).

After England won the rugby World Cup their was talk of Ben Cohen going to try to play in the NFL. I don't know if it was a serious possibility though.
