Kick-off on Sunday 11th February 2006 at 4pm GMT On Sky Sports 1 Live

Man City's line-up will probably look something like this:

James
Sommeil - Dunne - Distin - Sun Jihai
Sinclair - Barton - Musampa - Riera
Vassell - Cole

Subs: Weaver, M. Mills, Sibierski, B. Wright-Phillips, Samaras

I'm not entirely sure of our line-up but it will be something like that. The GK will certainly be James and the midfield and strikers will be them but predicting who will play in defence is a question. Danny Mills is injured for us and he plays right-back, so Sun Jihai has been playing there of late but since both of our left-backs are out, Thatcher (injury) and Jordan (suspension), he will probably move over to the left as he has experience there. Dunne and Distin will start as the two centre-backs as they are first-choice and haven't picked up any injuries, Sommeil played right-back earlier on in the season so I imagine he will be placed there, although his preferred position is centre-back. Micah Richards can play right-back I believe, so Pearce may give him a chance there. Musampa will be played in centre midfield, like he did at his time at Ajax, Riera will be kept on left because hes been impressive there recently. I imagine Cole will be back in the starting line-up alongside Vassell, with Samaras dropping to the bench. Pearce sometimes risks putting a second goalkeeper on the bench so he may do this again. Matthew Mills will probably get a place on the bench, as will Sibierski and Bradley Wright-Phillips. Other contenders for bench are Flood, Croft and Ireland.

Good result, I haven't seen us play live in awhile till today. Some good goals alhtought the defending could have been better. A cracker from Joey and I think Sammaras is going to live up the hype (althought those are dangerous words from a City supporter)

Samaras did well yesterday and I think that he got the main job done, which was to score. Yea, he could of perhaps done better with his 2nd chance of scoring but his goal led to us winning and he showed his potential of being a good player for Man City. Another entertaining Man City game, and thankfully we won it :)

By the way, Sinclair looks to be injured for awhile and Cole is having a knee scan today to see if he has any injuries.

Good result

Now we are just 1 point behind West Ham for 8th and 2 points behind Wigan for 7th.

Let's hope West Han loses today and Wigan lose next week. City's got Liverpool comming up so the best we can do is a draw.

We need to be in 7th, 7th is the comfort zone because it can potentially turn into UEFA cup depending on how the FA, Carling cup goes

This weekend, we must beat Aston Villa

I would settle for 7th. We still have to play Wigan, West Ham, Blackburn, Arsenal and the other teams around us and it is important that we win them games so that we can get ahead of them.

damn it, Wigan won........... Bolton only played 24 games so they have 2 games at hands. For some stupid reasons, we can't beat Bolton.
