Hiya,
I'm going to be in town for the Arsenal match and it being my first time in Liverpool, was wondering if anyone recommend a good pub close to Anfield/Lime St. Station for before the game. Cheers.

Lime Street Station is a good distance from the ground. As you exit from the
station there are a few nice pubs one block away on the left. At Anfield, it will depend on if you wish to wear Arsenal kit. See the answers from Matt Clark and I to a similar question in the Liverpool NSR board.
While you are there make a few pound contribution to the Hillsborough Justice campaign on Walton Breck Road (directly across the street from the Kop End). If you are in the away section say a prayer for the 96 at their memorial on that side of the ground. Or go around there and say a prayer no matter where you are sitting.
