I can attest to that, with a generous helping of mosquitos thrown in for good measure.

Old thread, i'll toss in my two cents...

I live in Lansng, Michigan and we have the most unstable weather i've ever encountered. Currently its upper 50's and we are having highs in the low to mid 60's. Fairly nice for the time of year. A year and a week ago we had almost a foot of snow on the ground after a wonderful late april snow weekend. However, 3 days after that, i was 70's.

I witnessed a day 10-12 yrs ago when it started out in the mid 70's at a track meet and by the end 3 hrs later it was high 30's and snowing.

The motto of michigan is wait 5 mins, it'll change. Living with water almost surrounding the entire state, weather systems get really f'd up and we get slammed with snow in the winter and t-storms during the summer.

LOL - Jeff, I miss those days. I remember one sunny and warm afternoon kicking the ball around with a few folks and it started to snow. My friend that was born and bred simply said - ho hum antother wonderful spring afternoon in Michigan.

I'm in Washington DC - a stones throw Northeast of the White House. Short metro ride to DC United games and walking distance of the Verizon Center.

You only have to look at my profile on where I live. But for those who don't want to have a look, I live in Ballarat, australia.

I am a huge fan of Harry Kewell. I am a little concerned that he is injured again with a groin problem.

Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, USA
Most recently lived in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA
Now live in Gravataí (near Porto Alegre), Rio Grande do Sul, BRASIL.

BTW, Porto Alegre has a intra-city rivalry with team colors of red (SC Internacional) and blue (Grêmio - Ronaldinho's former club). Sound familiar. Naturally, I'm a red.

I live in the mighty Liverpool lol, nah this city is pretty much a dump tbh. I suppose it isn't too bad where I live, in Aintree though. Weather today, cloudy with rainy spells, which is disappointing considering it was around 80 degrees on Saturday.

If you know where abouts the Old Roan is then that is where you will find me lol."Old Roan" Used to be a good old pub. When I was a kid (Old farts talk) There was only the pub and a few nice old houses there. Used to be a nice walk to the Aintree bridge and Ted Sagers old pub the "Blue Anchor." Ted played in goal for Everton and I went to school with his son David. I was born just past there in one of the "21 houses" In those days it was out in the sticks. I was christened in the Church across from the 'Bootle Arms" on top of the hill there

My mate Joe Bueley live in the Old Roan, we used to go to all the matches together. Do I know the Old Roan.....?? pfft!

I just saw something that said San Antonio is one of the 10 most uncomfortable cities to live in. That's why I'm glad I'm posting this in Canada.

Live in Alachua, which is a smidge north of Gainesville, which is where University of Florida is located (my place of employment).

Our regular forecast looks like this: HOT, with 99.9% chance of remaining hot straight through to October 1st.

Interesting story from Gainesville: In May of 2005, on that amazing night in Istanbul(well, afternoon here in Florida), my wife and I were driving around after the game, not really knowing what to do with ourselves. There is a wall here in Gainesville where Graffiti is allowed and encouraged. What do you know, someone has just finished painting in huge Red and White. LFC KINGS OF EUROPE, with a nice huge Liverbird. We of course stopped and met the two nicest people (and probably happiest), true scousers who happened to live in Gainesville. We have become great friends, and stayed with them last December when we finally made it to Liverpool for a visit and our first match at Anfield. I believe they made the Echo with their wall painting story by the way.

I was born in Iraq but moved to just outside Detroit, Michigan when i was less than a year old. The weather right now is pretty nice, but it changes on you like none other, so playing football can be difficult.

I am currently in Philadelphia, but I split my childhood between Calcutta, India (birthplace - spent first 2 1/2 years there), Knoxville, Tennessee (a southern college town), and Pittsburgh.

Philly weather? Hmm. Well it's definitely milder than Pittsburgh. Less snow. Yesterday it hit 100 F. But this is a bit atypical for Philly summers.
