Well, come back to the fold. The last GZA record ("Grandmasters") and the Ghostface's "Pretty Toney Album" were f'ing STELLAR. This new Ghostface has the potential to really blow up.

BTW...are you saying that those caused you to NOT like Wu-Tang?? Because both of those are totally classic albums. I'd put Liquid Swords in my top ten of all time, no matter what the genre.

No. Definitely two of my keepers. I've grown away from hip-hop culturally as I just have trouble relating to most of the stuff now'days.

OB4CL will always be in my top echelon for hip-hop.

Liquid Swords is just a absolute masterpiece. I'm not sure it's as listener friendly as other titles, but the subtle details are so well worked and it really grows on you if you appreciate hip-hop. I still remember it as the first real "underground tape" my friends and I got without help of the older crew. The good ol' days.

This old road

Great new acoustic set produced by Don Was. His best in 30 years. This is a song that us old 'uns can relate to.

Song: "Grievances"
Album: Songs of Pain

Anyone else ever listened to Daniel Johnston? I saw the movie that just came out about him ("The Devil & Daniel Johnston") and was blown away by the beauty, sincerity, and rawness of his music. I went out and bought four of his albums yesterday.
