Off topic a bit I know but it needs a bump in here.
I sat with my wife and watched "Idol" last night. Yeh, I know but the theme for the nights songs was Lennon and McCartney hits.
Some of the contestants were brilliant and added their own updated twist to the songs. A couple did the classic numbers and well and a couple blew it and badly by trying to be too clever with a classic.
My Fav. was the Irish Girl, Carly Smithson, she brought the house down with her version of "Come together" Love to see her go all the way.
