Heard yall had some shootin' going on down there, Cam.
We got some cheesy little flakes down here last Thursday, but nothing like Steph and Ryan are seeing. So did you get to miss work today, Steph? Back during the 2000 snowstorm in NC, we all missed work for 2 weeks! That much time with the family will send you running towards the office door. :)
Sean was in Asheville over the weekend and mountain biked in the snow and we got flurries yesterday and last night but no accumulation except for our cars! :( Would have loved a snow day today! :D

I guess someone didn't take the mandatory hunter's safety class. Rule #1. Don't shoot other people! It sounds like he was peppered, which is better than a close up shot.

It sounded to me like someone was trying to recreate a scene from the movie Wedding Crashers! ;)

Yeah, I guess he was lucky they were only hunting quail or dove or whatever. [Small animals=Small ammunition] Unfortunately that picture on stage at the NRA meeting hoisting that big rifle isn't looking so good now. LOL
I like the comment from the lady that was with them bragging about what a quick response they received (since Cheney has an ambulance on-call at all times). LOL Guess that heart condition finally paid off.

Jeremy Grey: Wow. Mr. Environmental is also a hunter. That's an interesting combination.
Sack Lodge: I hunt quail, Jeremy. They're overpopulated in this region and they're decimating the grubworm population. You got a ********ing problem with that?
Jeremy Grey: Not as much as I do with your attire, or just your general point of view toward everybody here. But hey, lets go kill some birds. I'm psyched.

good morning.
my comptuer monitor here at work is all ********ed up. there is no red hue coming through on the pixels, so everything red looks black and all the colors are off. not sure how to fix it and it is giving me a headache.

2 Hour delay for our kids today. I got a massive workout shovelling my driveway yesterday.
But, given my druthers, I'd rather get a workout playing footy on a beach in Cozumel or snorkeling in Belize.

i hate shoveling. my dad didn't believe in snow blowers, he had me and my bro and our driveway was really long. luckily some neighbor's had a snow blower, so they would let me use it.

I actually like the exercise. Its kind of like splitting wood (without the he-man equipment). But as a kid I thought it was total drudgery.

best thing was that once i was in high school i didn't have to shovel anymore, because the swim season is in the winter, and my coach didn't want anyone pulling a muscle or something and missing practice or a meet. so after that my dad just paid a neighbor's kid $20 to do it.

LOL  Can imagine you kickin' back, drinking hot chocolate watching the neighbors kid slaving away, sayin "Can't shovel. Coaches orders. Er, you missed a spot."

Well our "snow" days rarely involve that much snow. 2 inches or less is what we get. We get "snow" days because of ice and the fact that we have no equipment to salt or sand the roads in massive quantities.....but it is a fun day off...unless you need bread or milk in which case you are SOL! :D

The funny thing around here is that people act like its armageddon before one of these storms comes through. A friend of mine owns a cab company and he said he made CRAZY money on Saturday, all for people going to the grocery store. He said there was absolutely nowhere to park at any grocery store.
I don't get it?! Don't people have a day's supply of groceries in their house??

Yup it is 1000 times worse here because no one can drive any way and you get all the rednecks thinking that 4WD will help on ice......... :p
