who else is looking outside at a foot of snow this morning? We had some weird lightning and thunder during the snow storm last night. Just glad to have power this morning.

Lucky you. I've got snow shoveling to "look forward to". ;)

Yeah the thunder and lightening was weird. Haven't seen that during a snow storm too many times.

They are usually pretty good at getting the roads cleared here so it should be ok for tomorrow. I'm a grad student and work from home so its not a problem for me. My wife just switched jobs from one an hour away to one 5 min away so she'll be ok to get to work...unlucky for her. :D

And the snow keeps on falling here in NYC. It's been so long I forgot it was winter.

oh my 23 inches! It's a winter wonderland out there. It hasn't stopped snowing yet. I'm pushing for three feet and that the roads are so bad I don't have to drive to Atlantic City for work tomorrow.

I don't think I've had a snow day since the Halloween blizzard of 93. Did you get that in Chi town?

we get snow days if we get less than an inch here-the south is just not prepared to deal with ice here :D I was supposed to have a footy match today but it is snow flurrying here! :D

hmm, don't think we got snow. i was 12 in 1993, probably one of the last trick or treating i did, and i remember it was pouring, and i mean pouring rain, and it was cold.

i think the last snow day i got was in 94 or 95. I spent the day snowblowing and shoveling my neighbor's sidewalks and driveways and made a crap load of money.
