According to eurosoccer (http://www.euso.nl/?sid=&&id=11522) both Club Brugge and PSV Eindhoven are interested in Daniel Chavez. Eurosoccer isn't the most reliable source out there but the story goes around on different football-sites at the moment.

Sort of translation:

PSV and Brugge chasing Peruvian talent

Club Brugge is having Peruvian talent Daniel Chavez over for a trial period. The 18 year old attacker is seen as a big talent in his homecountry and according to insiders even better than Bayern Munich's forward José Paolo Guerrero.
Though PSV Eindhoven seems to be interested too.

Chavez is a fast, strong and technical advanced attacking player who easily scores. PSV hope to find the "new Farfan" in Chavez. Furthermore Chavez seems to prefer a transfer to Eindhoven because the club has a good reputation in South-America.

The transferprice seems to be 2,5 million euros according to different sources. PSV is ready to pay the amount, Club Brugge wants to see the player at a trial period first.

It looks like he starts his training session at Club Brugge today.

Hmm I wonder if he played in Peru's U17 World Cup. I kinda remember the name, I just can't remember what he looked like. Who owns his pass? Is he another kagonsito? Because whoever owns that pass is going to be very happy with those 2 million dollars.

He's a regular at the U-17 National Team.

Looks like he was one of the leaders of the NT in the FIFA U-17 World Championship.

He played a good game against the argies when we eliminated them from contention in the Sudamericano(qualifiers) for the U-17 World Championship in Peru later that year.

I believe he did play the U17, his name sounds real familiar. But better than JPG, silly Euro-reporters :D

He better up those numbers to be seriously considered.

Ahhh yes, is that kid from Catolaosteinberg. ;) His agents must be showing that video of the last group game against Argentina where Peru eliminated them. In that game Chavez looked like the next Romario, he was amazing.

If my memory serves me correctly, he had the puffy long hair with a headband. Hey the U17, when I saw them play, impressed me more than the older NT team. Oh well, too bad they ran out of gas in the tourney.

Looks like a very promising player. He was the main weapon for the U-17 NT.

Just so we have a positive id :D. Wish him all the best. Thanks to our other Peruvian forwards doing pretty good(well I can count them on one hand) he may have a good shot at making either team.
