This thread is for all the particpants of the draft, fellow united fans and even fans of other teams who have positive things to contribute. This endeavour is intended to educate United fans about the history of their great club and the fantastic players who have worn the shirt during our illustrious history.

I ask that all participants do their research and draft in keeping with an 'all-time united' draft. It will probably get a lot more difficult from the middle rounds onwards, but try and do your research - I'd hope not to see the Forlan's/Djemba's picked for want of someone else. A little research will go a long, long way ;)

Great pick DS. I was actually wondering last night how highly a great gk is valued....but I guess you answered that. ;) :)

Who needs the 'Guvnor' when you have the Sir. :D

The my friend, not 'a' :)

Sir Robert is a great first choice. What should be good about the first round is all the usual suspects are spread across all 12 teams.

Shocking selection. He should have really slipped a round or two.

Don't worry, I think it was a decent pick Billy, not one I would have made in your position but decent nonetheless.

A bit of an obscure pick, I know. Still, you've got to go with those players some haven't heard of at times.

Something tells me that DS, Teso and myself were all just subconsciously too lazy to make our own profiles and thus, went for those 3. :p

Well, once the first 3-4 keepers are drafted (it'll take a while for the second one to be taken I assume), it'll be really fun to see whom people are gonna draft. What's over/under on Tim Howard being drafted? ;)

BTW, how long do we wait between the turns?

Thats a good question...who would be the top 12 gk's?

Best’s renown guarantees that he is never short of work as a pundit and after-dinner speaker and he at present is part of Sky’s Gillette Soccer Saturday team.

Not important just pointing out the age of the article I guess.
