Looks about right. Have to say i would prefer Garcia up front insteed of Moro though.

I'm glad Dudek is finally going to get to play. Even if it's only for 3 games. Assuming Pepe is out for 3 games that is.

I like your lineup LB, BUT I think Garcia should start up front, now that he's back and fit and our attackers have been lacking, he deserves a shot. Garcia and Fowler would be an interesting pair up front.

Alonso needs to step it up in this match. I don't know whats up with him lately, but he's not in good form. We need to find some kind of solution up front. Maybe it could be Fowler. I still think Crouch is 1st choice and the question becomes, who should partner him. Maybe Crouch gets rested in this one though. Gerrard could partner Alonso in the middle so that Garcia can start on the right. I don't know how much we need Sissoko against a team like Charlton who won't be attacking us much. Time to put the Chelsea game behind us and get back on track in our pursuit of 2nd place.

This is the first of our two games in hand. I 'd start Hamann instead of Momo and Warnock instead of Riise. But I agree with resting Sami and putting Garcia on the bench.

As a local Liverpool paper said, we must be wise to remember the lessons from yesterday's defeat.

Personally, methinks Alonso just needs some time on the bench - not as punishment, but as a time to chill. He just seems flustered and off his game and i think a little RnR might do the man some good.

I've got the solution. Gerrard needs to be back up closer to the goal, just behind the strikers, he wuld be deadly with The Crouch knockdowns. A pure right winger from the transfer window would have helped this situation. Oh and Crouchy needs to start throwin his weight around more in the box and get those heads down and make the keeper work...

Neighbourhood scuttlebutt (http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0500liverpoolfc/0100news/tm_objectid=16675945%26method=full%26siteid=50061%26headline=capital%2dpains-name_page.html#story_continue)has it that Stevie has a slight knock on his knee and will miss tomorrow's match. He may also miss the match against Wigan on Saturday.

So shuffle the pack, then lads.

It is official SG out tommorrow and also most likely for Wigan:

He looked like he'd done it for the last twenty minutes against Chelsea.

Rafa is coy about which keeper is going to start. I guess it's all about what happens at the training ground, eh?

It doesn't really matter who starts as the job needs to get done. We need the 3 points to keep up with utd . With charlton not conceding a goal at the valley this season it is going to be very tough for us but i have faith in the lads. 1 nil Pool !!!!

Really, really, really need to get back on the winning track. Schedule has gotten disjointed and a win here and on the weekend would go a long way towards establishing some regularity.

I'd start Cisse and Fowler up top with Alonso and Hamann in the middle, Kewell and Garcia out wide, and Riise and Finnan at the outside backs.

Hyypia could be rested that's 50-50. I think Dudek will play very well because this is his big chance.

Reina has been solid, but he hasn't totally convinced me, though that is probably just him settling into the English game.

Wow, Cisse, Crouch, and Morientes all playing together?

With Stevie out, I guess we're looking for Cisse's pace down the right.

I'll be very interested to see how this works. I'm hoping for the best.

Charlton have dodgy full-backs. They do have good striker(s) and overall are extremely hard-working (and honest). We'll take them lightly at our peril.

No idea why they let Murphy go either, he was one of their best players this season, well in the first half anyways. Better for us.

Charlton get an early corner. Liverpool clear.

Alonso with a good ball to Kewell. Harry wins a corner.

Alonso takes the corner. Cleared by Charlton.
