The rest of Everton's schedule is on page 1 of this thread. But 4/19 is your answer.

April 19th. Hopefully it will be picked up by FSW. Should be a great game.

Cheers Paul.
Just curious, right now we're favourites to win that match 2/5 for Liverpool v 7/4 Everton...just curious to see how the book makers will change their odds come then. I will be waiting to place a bet.
an off topic aside:
I nearly bet on Oz but was too lazy to get off my ass and get to Ladbrokes...that was disappointing...
I predicted 2 other upsets earlier in the season Everton v Arsenal and Everton v Leeds...and again the same result....
next time I'm going to get off my ass so I can put my money where my mouth is. >:(

ok, so these games are what's left of the season. WV was right the last 8 are killer. Considering what teams we face in the next two weeks, we should be looking for no less than 6 pts.
Going into Highbury on a positive note will do our confidence wonders, besides, the gunners will this time be wary of what Rooney can do...
from the final 8 it looks as if we need to pull at least 15pts if we want to ensure the 5th seed and somewhere along the lines of 20pts from the last 8 if we still want that last champions league spot...

Chelsea do seem to have a slightly easier run in but they aren't the sort of team that can go on a 5 or 6 game winning streak like Arsenal or Man U. Chelsea are consistently unconsistent. If they weren't they would be genuine title contenders.
They do have more home games aswell but playing teams in the relegation scrap at the end of the season can be dangerous. That may draw several of those. City and Fulham look like the only bankers out of those games.
Mar 01 Newcastle v Chelsea 12:30
Mar 16 West Brom v Chelsea 16:05
Mar 22 Chelsea v Man City 15:00
Apr 05 Sunderland v Chelsea 15:00
Apr 12 Chelsea v Bolton 15:00
Apr 19 Aston Villa v Chelsea 15:00
Apr 21 Chelsea v Everton 15:00
Apr 26 Chelsea v Fulham 15:00
May 03 West Ham Utd v Chelsea 15:00
May 11 Chelsea v Liverpool 15:00
If we can pull 3 points ahead of them this weekend a champions league spot isn't out of the question.
However, I'm not going to get too over confident. If some one said we finished 6th or 7th at the start of the season I would have hugged them!!

Lets not forget Newcastle, They have never been a model of consistancy either at the end of a season, not to mention they sill have matches left in the CL this could prove too much for them.

I consider them to be a true dark horse, in fact, had they not gone through that rough patch at the begining of the season, they'd be ahead of Manure right now. They are on the verge of being true title contenders, but Arsenal are a class act.
I say hope for the best, but be cautious, I don't want to need to rely on beating Newcastle to keep or inprove our current position. Beating them should be a bonus.

Completely agree. I expect Newcastle to beat Chelsea at home and as Man U aren't playing this week they will pull even. The Toon should qualify for the champions league again, it is more of a question of them finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th rather than not qualifying at all.
However, I was pleased that they won last night. Firstly, I am a sentimental English fool who always likes to see English clubs do well in Europe but also because it means they will pour everything into that competition and see the game against us as a distraction and field a weeker team.

Im just going on history though. For some reason they have allways managed to shoot themselves in the foot every year. All those years under Keegan comming so close then falling apart. Though If we couldnt win the league it would be nice to see them do so.
We do have Newkie at home so that might be there nail that keeps them from beating Arsenal for the title.

with Chelsea losing, it makes this Boro game more even more important...all three points, or even one means we take Chealsea's place.
