He looks in decent shape. Pretty thin actually.
He maybe even looks a little frail. The years have not been kind.
But at least it's not dull aorund here.

He may 'look' fit but IS he fit?
Fit or fat? Fat or fit? Fit and Fat? Fat and Fit?

Seriously, why would he come out at all if he didn't look somewhat fit...
I think alot of the Gazza bashers should be eating a bit of crow now in regards to the fat aspect, he looks in decent shape, better than Etch. Gascoigne has been working out in Cyprus with a personal trainer, some article said, and with all the attention this possible move is getting you'd hope he would have the decency to come in fit, so well done Gazza. Now the actual match-fitness football side of things, well the jury is still out, but I'm looking forward to seeing it. If anything its some new blood for a team thats dreadfully short of ideas and passion on the field, and with Q2 aboard as well, maybe we'll move up a bit in the standings, score a goal or two away from RFK...

Maybe he's serious about this afterall.
I wonder if he'd travel with the club to Chicago next Wednesday?

he looks a lot better then he did a month or so ago when he was doing the tv colour for the World Cup.... I'm very impressed with how he looks right now.
He's gonna blow the roof off this league.

Guys, he's only 35. Yeah, it's old, but he's still got a few more years left in him. Look at what Hristo did his first year (then ignore the 2 years after that of being plagued by injuries and getting minimal playing time, ya know, for the sake of argument).
It seems like the same story. People are worried about an old player coming over out of shape and not living up to expectations, then the player steps and the field and says 'what now' with the level of play he's at.
I'm just hoping he won't be match fit next wednesday.

Hopefully he'll help put more bums in the seats - and help keep MLS afloat. If you use Peter Nowak as a measure (at what, 39?), Gazza could still have a good 3-4 seasons in MLS; be a great success and be purchased by xxxyyy?? for 10-15 million dollars ... I can dream, eh?
Good luck Gazza! ( except against SJ )

Guys, he's only 35. And he doesn't look a day over 40. This is kind of silly, looking at a few pictures and deciding he's in "match shape". Have you people even played a match before? Just because he's "skinny" (or even if he was fat, for the matter) it doesn't mean he's match fit. If you ask me, he's got saggy manboobs, for goodness sake. Maybe they're just leftovers.

I think you're missing the point, and the fact that you are checking out his "manboobs" has me a little worried for you. I think that everybody is just giving their first impression. Obviously you can't judge a book by it's cover, but I'm sure you would be hearing it from everybody if he showed up with saddlebags and an extra 40 pounds. He looks pretty healthy, and has lost the extra pounds, which menas that he is on his way to recovery and to gettting into shape. Hopefully.....

Gazza probably has 2 years left in him, no more.
He's come to camp thin, and most probably pretty
fit. I'm pretty excited.
I think he can add a lot to the squad. DCU should
sign him at the league max for 2 years.

Gees, with people saying that Gazza was old and fat, I was expecting Chilavert-size...this guy just needs some weight work to fill out a little.
Man. I'm 35 and I don't look that fit. :( (But at least I don't have Sigi's abs.)
