Has been for a week or so, Can he go back to UCLA? Or did he sign a contract in Italy or with an agent that would make him NCAA inelgible?

I can't believe it. Did someone just say "Gazza looks somewhat thin?"
Never thought I would hear that.

What makes me happy is that he is smiling, he looks like he is having a good time. I have a good feeling about this. He hasn't arrived asking for a suite in the Trump Tower.

Alex Yi is no longer eligible for his UCLA scholarship as was reported on the Juniors Board by several very knowledgable posters (i.e. Sandon, davide, 3rd_Degree, etc.). Neither he nor Nelson Akwari (previously was training with the Dallas Burn and originally from Texas) are eligible because of the Italy thing. The word was that a new manager or owner (cannot recall which it was) came in and in a cost cutting move eliminated ALL of the foreign talent. This happened very shortly after they arrived ... they were most bummed. No idea where they'll end up, but Yi has been thinking of paying his way back to UCLA to finish the degree. His family is very dedicated to education.
As for Gazza ... man, I really really don't want to say this, BUT, I'm kinda shocked at the fact that he's reporting in shape. Perhaps, for the first time in years, he really is taking this seriously ... at least for the moment. Like it or not, I see ZERO chance of Hudson not making the deal work.
Where does that leave Etch?
