FSW has been carrying the games that Sky broadcasts pretty consistently...same corporate parent and all that.

And a quick glance at SoccerTV.com confirms that they will be showing one of the games on a same-day delay...but they haven't decided which one yet. My money is on whatever game Sky is showing.

If the final itself is as good as this game was it will be well worth watching.

Some are saying, of course, that Arsenal-Chelsea might as well be the final because the winner will surely be odds-on favorites to win the Cup

I would be one of those that would say that.Really-we are the best two teams that are left in it, and yes i know the best team doesn't always win.

That Arsenal side though is the best side i have seen play football over the past 30 years.
Henry coming off was definitely in our favour..but then again Wenger had an eye on Roma nd the champions league didn't he?

Many said before this game that that fact could help Chelsea and in this case i think it did.

How are the brackets drawn?? Who will Arsenal or Chelsea play in the semis. Is that already decided?? I would guess it would be the winner of that game vs. Southampton in the finals??

Watford 2-0 Burnley. One of the biggest days in the club's history. With all the financial problems we've been having this season this is a dream. If Wolves win today we will have 3 Nationwide teams in the Semis, guaranteeing one of them to reach the final! What a day.

It is unlike anything in the states for the draw.
There is no bracket or anything of the sort.
It is a random draw each and every round.
The winner of the replay may/may not get the saints in the semi.

Leeds go out today. The managers will never admit in public, or perhaps even to some of their own players, but Wenger and Ranieri must feel that they will lift the cup if they can win the replay.
There will be no home field advantage for the draw and i'm sure they must secretly believe their squads are better than whats left.

But, it's a funny ol game.........

We'll have Sheffield United against the Chelsea/Arsenal winner and Watford against Southampton.

Boy, they are really making it hard for us.

The Chelsea/Arsenal/ v SU match will on at 8:00 ET on Sunday. Then they will show it on PPV at 11:00 which is stupid as well. But anyway then, the Southampton v Watford match will be on at 11:30. So if I go to my local pub, I will probably have to leave after the first game set up my old vcr and then go back. Too much. Why isn't one on Saturday and the other on Sunday? The big teams are going to have to give a little on the schedules. Too much is given to them on these things.

The teams would love to have the authority to name the time and venue.
Unfortunately TV and the FA do that.

But didn't they have one game on Saturday and one on Sunday before. Surely, they may not want the Sunday game to be played too late. But it's just unfortunate.

Today's final, Chelsea 1-3 Arsenal.

Semifinals on 13-April.

Arsenal v. Sheffield United
Watford v. Southampton

I know that the FA Cup winner gets a spot in next year's UEFA Cup. If Arsenal wins the FA Cup, does the UEFA Cup spot got to the FA Cup Runnerup?

If that's the case and Arsenal wins the semifinal against Sheffield United, then the winner of the other semifinal is automatically going to be in Europe next year in the UEFA Cup.

I believe all Euro spots from cups won by teams that have already qualified for European competitions are given to the next spot in the Premier League.
