For those that have seen Green Street and sorry to ruin it for you Tigerdave but I couldn't help but think that those were Newcastle fans they were fighting at the train station when they flanked them. Now, I know it says they are on their way to Manchester and such and I couldn't figure out why there would be Toon fans there, but these things struck me as odd:
The first shot of them they are chanting "United, United!" Which is pretty standard for any team with United in it.
The second time they show them they are chanting "Who the ******** are Man United?" And when they close up and listen to them talk they sound like Geordies. Also, the leader has a black Adidas jacket with white lines down the sleeves, and the rest of them have black and white on.
Now, it doesn't say anything else but why would Toon fans be fighting in Manchester or why are the Man U guys wearing black and white and chanting "Who the ******** are Man United?"
I noticed that as well.
Aside from the odd continuity error (Like flying on Delta from Boston to Heathrow - Delta only goes to Gatwick and only from Cincinnati and Atlanta), I actually found Green Street a little easier to follow. But that could be because I was more in tune with the characters and they had a little more plot development surrounding them. There was more to invest in the characters because they were more three-dimensional.
I found it funny that both movies started with a reference to Tottenham and ended with Milwall in the Cup.
