Noooooooooooo! You must drink it from a cool half pint glass topping up at regular intervals so that it is never less that 2/3 empty.
Sounds like an interesting idea. I might have to try that.

It's the law, it's even written on the back.

It is shite isn't it.

I was sat their surrounded by bloody women crying about the fact that for some unknown reason they take sheep onto a hill?!?! WTF is wrong with a field? Then they bum each other even though they aren't gay, yeah right.

People only think its "good" because its got gayness in it and cowboys, but they aren't cowboys since they have sheep and it's the 60's and they don't kill anyone.

Toss!
I'll have to pass on Brokeback. Do rent Football Factory. I don't know how accurate it was but it was very entertaining and funny(if you don't mind lots of violence, swearing and drug use). I just love the opening scene Tottenheim away and the firms linking up as they walk thru the back streets of North London to go clash with the Spurs supporters.

If they wanted a couple of closet gays who spent all day around sheep on a hill they should have gone to Wales

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Toon² again.

Right you are! That's how I drink all my fine imports, including:

Newcastle
Warsteiner
Carlsberg
Jever

Oops, wrong thread.

Umm...Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Classic.

I watched Lord of War last night with Nicholas Cage and Jared Leto. It was pretty good. Kinda of depressing and surprisingly thought provoking. Check the special features.

3 1/2 soccer balls.

About a week ago I watched Ying xiong (Hero). I hadn't seen Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon or House of Flying Daggers, so this was my first Chinese people walking on air movie.

I thought it was very good though. I'm surprised I liked the story more than the action (which there was plenty of).

4 1/2 soccer balls!

Bought the movie Green Street Hooligans last night. Good, good film. Very powerful in my opinion. Let's you in on the underground world of the Hooligan firms. Elijah Wood is very good and his opposite Charlie Hunnam is also good. Follows around a group of West Ham hooligans. Although there isn't much actual soccer action (only 1 game), they elude to it and as a soccer fan you can appreciate it. They mention the Toon twice and the opening of the movie is the West Ham guys in a brawl with Spurs supporters. What a shock the Spurs fans got their skulls bashed in. (sorry to ruin it but I can never miss a shot at Spurs.)

Fearless was good.
Stranger than fiction was great.
If you like movies that are stupidly funny, Beerfest is good to watch a few times. The plot sucks and there are some really worthless moments, but we sneaked beer into the movie theater so that it made it better.

Rent Football Factory it's about some Chelsea hoolies and it was produced by Rockstar Games. It's much better than Green Street IMO.

I'd agree. Green Street was okay, but I had a hard time believing Elijah Wood as someone who could fight anyone, let alone kick hooligan ass like he seems to in that movie.

I really like Greet Street Hooligans, esp. since one of the main actors (Charlie Hunnam) in from Newcastle :D But seriously, I thought it was well put together.

People say Hunnam's cockney accent is horrible, but I'm American so I don't care/notice.

I do want to check out Football Factory.

Saw We Are Marshall on Friday. Very good film. Emotional and suprisingly funny. I'm not a big fan of Mcconaughey but he was damn good.

I have Goal and the Football Factory in my collection and I enjoyed both.

As far as Goal goes, what are some of the opinions about that movie? Even though I haven't been to Newcastle, (yet) I like how they show scenes of the city and training grounds.

My wife and I both want to see it. It looks pretty funny.

I've got Goal on my Netflicks queue at #66.

It was fine, imo in terms of the scenes of Newcastle and SJP/training grounds as well as the player cameos, but if I put my critic's hat on I'd probably rip it to shreds. Entertaining flick if you just wanna watch something, but it isn't going to be winning any awards.

Rented both, but haven't seen Green Street yet. Football Factory was pretty good. Had a fair bit of everything, and it revealed information bit by bit as necessary, enough to keep you hooked but not enough to blow it and make you lose interest. On an aside, the way they ******** each other over just for laughs is ********in' hilarious.

For those that have seen Green Street and sorry to ruin it for you Tigerdave but I couldn't help but think that those were Newcastle fans they were fighting at the train station when they flanked them. Now, I know it says they are on their way to Manchester and such and I couldn't figure out why there would be Toon fans there, but these things struck me as odd:

The first shot of them they are chanting "United, United!" Which is pretty standard for any team with United in it.

The second time they show them they are chanting "Who the ******** are Man United?" And when they close up and listen to them talk they sound like Geordies. Also, the leader has a black Adidas jacket with white lines down the sleeves, and the rest of them have black and white on.

Now, it doesn't say anything else but why would Toon fans be fighting in Manchester or why are the Man U guys wearing black and white and chanting "Who the ******** are Man United?"
