Well I got screwed by FIFA I received the dreadfull email today.

So since I can't wait to the other rounds to get a ticket since I don't want to get screwed for the third time by FIFA, I just placed an order for 4 tickets for Mexico (2 against Iran and 2 vs Portugal).

I did a research and found that the company is backed by oaktree capital management and Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, two of the premier Private Equity firms of the world. So that gave me some relief, still....

But I'm still doubtful, is this really a good option? Am I going to get screwed?
Have anybody placed tickets with them? What was your experience with razorgator?

I want some reassurance here!!

I'm buying my tickets through them. I'm not too worried about getting screwed, except of coarse for the price. I heard other people have gotten screwed by other ticket brokers in the past, but no one seems to have had this experience with razorgator yet. They were very helpful with me, and answered every question I threw at them. it seems a much better option then ebay, local scalpers, or ticket brokers with little, or no history.

well thanks, the only think that I don't like is that you have to wait until a week before the WC to receive the tickets. Is that normal? I mean, if they supposedly have the tickets guaranteed why wait that long?

Have you ever bought tickets throught them?

I've used Razorgator for tickets before and everything worked fine. If you have any questions, their customer service was better than I had expected from a ticket broker, the agent I spoke with definitely made sure he was giving specific answers about my order, rather than just reading from a generic form letter.

But, this was for MLB playoff tickets, so they didn't have nearly the security measures WC tickets are supposed to. I think everything will work out, as you said they're backed by a reputable firm. Good luck.

razorgator is here at the olympics, and the fans i sat with last night got their tickets through them, seems ok, they said they booked a few events with them. a few diffrent groups of fans.
the only thing i suggest is you get a contact number for who ever is going to have your tickets. (if they dont mail them) a fan next to me kept going to the pick up point but the tickets were not ready yet, so finley he got a number to call a few times to avoid walking to the pick up site so many times.
it was also the first day of events so they may be settled by now.

they are also selling their extra tickets of the days olympic events they did not sell out of. face value and some at a reduced price. maybe they will do the same for the WC

also if you know anyone here in torino tell them they are located next to the medals stage next to the castle. they have signs out and a list of the days events with a price. its cool you dont have to wait in line to ask what is for sale and how much.

go usa!

Hey thanks for the info. I am hoping that the pickup would not be an issue, but I am worried. I am arriving to Nuremberg 1 day before the game and the pickup places are located in Frankfurt and Berlin, I just don't know how I am going to do it if they don't ship the tickets at least five days before my departure.

Well I did my tickets to Razorgator and I had friends who used them in South Korea in 2002 and it worked great.
