Now that Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, England, Italy, and Uruguay have all won World Cups, who will be the next country to join this select club?

I doubt it will happen in 2006 but who knows what will happen in 2010. If an African team like Cameroon, Ivory Coast, or Nigeria can get their act together and prepare a team worthy to challenge the big boys, they could maybe do a "Korea" in their own continent and go far. Of course I voted for the USA. :D

Holland has played in 2 WC Finals, but lost twice against the hosts, Germany then Argentina.

Definately Holland...
Although in world cups down the track Nigeria, the Czechs, USA or Australia could be worthy yet surprising winners.

maybe getting past the round of 16 outside of your own country wouldn't hurt?
Netherlands or Spain have a definite shot in 2006. Voted Spain myself.

i would like it to be the usa, but reason tells me that the dutch are due.

If Spain can get over whatever it is that makes them underperform, they have the best shot, IMO. The Dutch have the talent as well, of course. The US will eventually get there, if no one else does it sooner.
