The derby is this weekend and I'll be hoping for a good Ipswich win. :)

Do I really have to explain that I disagree? Probably not! I am very concerned, to be honest, despite having had by far the best of it over the last few years, It could be a disaster. Earnshaw should make his debut... I'm hoping for a Leon McDouble style entrance...

lol.

I won't disagree with you though that Norwich have a better team, we are pretty banged up as well, especially in strikers.

Hopefully Ipswich will win for local reasons. Don't think they will though. Going to have to go with a home win i'm afriad :(

Fantastic victory for Ipswich. Hopefully this jump starts them. Promotion places? Dunno. But we are above Norwich now at least. :)

Another victory- 2-1 against Burnley.

They may look a little too far away, but I think we could mount a challenge for the promotion places. But if anything, we are still ahead of the Canaries. :)

It was a great win. Keeps the momentem going. The play offs are still a long way off but who knows, if they get a great run going then they have a chance

Up the tractor boys :D

The difference is the past years in playoffs where we've failed, we've usually played well enough all year that we deserved to be 1 or 2. but we didn't. Now we have the momentum. Good for the Tractor Boys. Jimmy Juan has been truly a great player for us, and somehow, we are scoring enough even though Bowditch, Parkin and others are injured and we lost the Bents.

It will be difficult for me though if they are promoted...Ipswich were the first team I liked, but now I am Evertonian through and through. Oh well, we will have to beat them I guess.

But first things first Ipswich has to maintain their run.

Whatever happened to Bowditch? Seems to have really struggled over the past few months after such a bright start to his career.

It was supposed to be his break out year but it never happened for him.

Didn't he score an hat-trick as a 17 yo?Yep he scored a hatrick against Watford at just 17. hasn't really been used alot since then, Joe Royal probably though best to keep his feet on the floor but this year was supposed to be his year to shine but he hasn't

I was disappointed at him too...I think some Prem teams were interested in him earlier this year.

What do you guys think of Joe Royle? I think he's a quality coach...and an Evertonian! :D

Got Oldham promoted to the top flight and kept them there for about 3 years. He got Everton into the top 6 and won them the FA cup, He took over Man City in division too and got them promoted in consecutive seasons to the premiership.

Anyone who knocks BFJ is bonkers. When you looked what he has put up with: nearly 2 teams worth of players shipped out, what he has done is amazing. We came within a hair of getting back into the EPL twice with one or two cash signings.

whew! Beat the Foxes and now only 5 points outside a playoff spot. But Preston has 2 games in hand - so it's worse than it looks. If Preston just lost their 22 game unbeaten streak how are the only 5 points ahead of us? Did they draw 22 games? What gives?

Table:

1 Reading 36 16 1 1 47 11 10 7 1 30 13 53 86
2 Sheff Utd 36 12 3 3 35 19 10 5 3 29 18 27 74
3 Watford 36 10 4 4 34 18 9 6 3 31 23 24 67
4 Leeds 35 12 3 2 31 14 7 6 5 18 14 21 66
5 Crystal Palace 35 11 4 3 29 12 6 5 6 23 22 18 60
6 Preston 34 6 9 2 21 11 7 7 3 24 14 20 55
7 Wolverhampton 35 7 7 3 17 12 6 7 5 23 18 10 53
8 Cardiff 36 9 6 3 29 17 5 4 9 21 26 7 52
9 Ipswich 36 7 6 5 22 24 6 5 7 20 24 -6 50
