Magilton favorite for Town job? (http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=392344&CPID=10&clid=40&lid=2&title=Town+to+unveil+new+man)

I dunno if he has the crudentals to be manager...I think he should be part of our coaching staff, but not manager.

Surely someone wants to take this job?

In all seriousness, Bruce Arena would be great.

His contract ends after the WC I think...and he says he's open to overseas coaching opportunities.

Interesting past days...

Alex Bruce, son of Steve Bruce, comes to the club
While it looks like Ian Westlake will be leaving.

Welcome to the site. I haven't been able to follow the Tractor Boys for awhile now. :-/ they are still my second team in England.

My god... could this start be any worse? Actually, not pointswise.

Dead last on the table, and I am not pleased!

Was Magilton a mistake? I'm actually a bit shocked they gave him the reins.

3 pretty good opponents...I'm not terribly panicky yet, but its a disappointment.

A great win vs. QPR.
Gavin Williams was exellent.
Billy Clarke was also very good.
And Deano scored for Ipswich for the first time since October 2004.

Magic's work so far: 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses

signings: Sylvain Legwinski, Dan Harding, Alex Bruce, Martin Brittain

loan signings: Jon Macken, Simon Walton, Mark Noble (all until Jan)

released: Forster, Parkin

I think we should give him until mid season before a report card is filled out...... ;)

Good victory...Southampton is a pretty good side and coming from behind is a good thing.

The weekend I'd say was a good one =)
