Everton v Man City Preview
By Graeme Bailey - Created on 3 Feb 2006
Everton are one of the form sides in The Premiership and they will be looking to continue their good run against Manchester City.
David Moyes is in line for Manager of the Month after guiding his outfit to an unbeaten run through January.
City have had an indifferent time, but they hammered Newcastle last time out and spirits are high in Stuart Pearce's camp.
Everton did the double over City last season for the first time in a decade, but they lost the reverse fixture 2-0 at Eastlands in October and they will be looking to make sure they can gain revenge for that.
Duncan Ferguson will definitely be missing for Everton following his sending off against Wigan and he could miss their next six league games.
David Moyes will be hoping that James Beattie and Italian Matteo Ferrari will be back, but Andy Van der Meyde (thigh), Alessandro Pistone (knee) and James Vaughan (knee) remain sidelined - while Joseph Yobo is still away on international duty.
City have suffered a blow with the news that talented young defender Nedum Onuoha has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Onuoha was not involved in City's win over Newcastle and Pearce will be tempted to go with the same line-up which will include Joey Barton - who looks to have settled his differences after demanding a transfer earlier this week.
New £6 million man Georgios Samaras will again have to make do with a place on the bench with Andy Cole and Darius Vassell starting up-front.

A win would do nicely  We need to start scoring more away goals and if we get a win tomorrow, we may move up to 7th I believe if results go our way.
