South Africa beat Angola 2-0 at home in the first leg of the second round (Southern Africa). The winner advances to the All African Games.

The other two teams in the South region are Zimbabwe vs Zambia, with the winner advancing to the games.

Central Africa - Cameroon plays Rwanda this weekend in the first leg. The winner advances to the games.

West Africa - Ghana plays Côte d'Ivoire this weekend in the first leg. Again, the winner advances to the games.

Far West Africa - Senegal plays Mali in the first leg this weekend. Winner advances...

North Africa - Libya plays Algeria in the first leg, and winner advances.

(Mali appears to be in good shape for the return match next month)

Cameroon 3 Rwanda 0
(A comfortable lead for Cameroon going back home)

Ivory Coast pulled out just a few days before they were supposed to play Ghana because their schedule was already too busy. My question is, why did they wait until the last minute to pull out of the competition?
