I think we'll see the same line up as on wednesday. Borgetti may possibly start instead of Jansen.

Team: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, N'Gotty, Ben Haim, Gardner, Davies, Nolan, Fadiga, Nakata, Stelios, Jansen.

Subs: Walker, Borgetti, Vaz Te, Fojut, Hunt

Borgetti fails to get a start again. I really feel sorry for him and can't help but feel that he got a couple of starts to stop him handing in a transfer request. When Diouf comes back we'll barely see any more of him given that Jansen's higher in the pecking order. That's not necessarily a bad thing if Matt can recover his old form.

Dont really understand Jansen playing straight off hes good but not fit enough, same as Vaz Te but id preffer Vaz Te. As it stands borgetti is prob a little pissed but i can understand why sames leaving him out. Good to see Nakata gettin some play while the rest are away/out, hope he can make a foundation for a perminant move.

Nakata and Jansen do absolutely nowt. Play Vaz Te and Borgetti from the start every match.

I have to disagree with your assessment of Jansen. He should not be playing ahead of Vaz Te, Borghetti .At this time I would play the youngster Smith ahead of him.Jansen has no pace, no lateral movement,no vertical leap and is not fit enough to pressure the ball.Jansen is a sentimental inclusion to be playing ahead of the other strikers.
I am pleased to see Nakata getting some playing time but he must stop making those risky back passes in the defensive 3rd that are getting intercepted, today he almost cost us a goal.I do not think Nakata has attempted a tackle since the Blackburn game.Borghetti and Stellios combine extremely well.

Borgetti can score lots of goals if given the chance, the coach really needs to do something about it!!!!!!!

I have no idea why Jansen started instead of Borgetti... I think Jansen touched the ball a total of two times today. I thought Borgetti did farely well for the time he got.

Borgetti did play well, Bolton was much more threatening with him and Vaz Te on the pitch. His arial game was excellent.
There is absolutely no reason for Sam to keep Borgetti on the bench.

Does anyone have a copy of the game as watched the highlights last night and cant even remember seenin borgetti, most of the chances shown came from davies and jansen combining in the first half.

Borgetti had a nice header that almost went in but the keeper kept it out, and he had clear opportunity but was ruled for a non existent offsides. I think that if it wasn't for that referee's mistake Bolton would have won.
