I could not believe this $hit either.. ********ing baseball, worst sport (if you can call it a sport) in the world. I was hoping to watch that Sporting Indenpendiente SF game. And it looks like this $hit is going to continue because that baseball tournament just started. I hope they don't interrupt the Universitario Rocha game next week or else i'm going to shove a stick of dynamite up the program director's ass!

I suggest writing a letter (nicely) reminding them that their core audience is futbol and that if they don't stop putting sh!t like baseball, you will watch Gol TV or another of their competitiors. BTW, I also hate logging on to ESPN deportes and having baseball, american handball(football) and basketball on the main page when again, the core audience is futbol.

You must be the only person on earth that doesn't know that ESPN is anti-futbol and they are open about it. ESPN is known for insulting/making fun of futbol (their commentators and news people), delaying futbol games for the silliests of things (bass fishing, some truck show, womens golf) and I could go on and on.
You can't expect Espn deportes to be different when the gringos that own Espn hate futbol and want to get us to watch their sports (nba, baseball, nfl).

Brazilian ESPN and the "regular" ESPN here in Brazil are quite good, when it comes to football.
They aired all Real Madrid and Barcelona's games this year and almost all of the CL's games (all teams).
They also show Bundesliga, Eredivise,La Liga, Serie A and EPL,

Now all SouthAmerican fans have an idea of what the situation was/is in Venezuela.
Showing some f...ing crappy baseball game instead of showing soccer.
One of the teams playing is actually my baseball team (Caracas) and they are playing in Venezuela,
I STILL DON'T GIVE A F..K, take that s..t off and put some f...ing soccer.

There's several ways of seeing that.
I used to think like you, thinking that those sports make more money because they have commercials every 10 minutes.
But when commercials come up, guess what, is time to go to the bathroom, grab some food, change the channel, etc.
In soccer a sponsor can easily has a picture of their product as big as 1/16 of the TV during the whole game.
And guess what? people are going to watch it no matter what.
People are going to be stuck to the TV 45 minutes and then 45 more minutes again.

The sponsors are over the field on the shirts. I am watching the game right now and I could tell you that the sponsors for Venezuela are cantc, and malin polar while P.R. has M.C.E. which I could see clearly everytime a player goes to second base. The adboard on the stadium are Maltin polar, Pepsi and Movilnet. Sponsors cover every single camera angle. Even Chavez ugly mug is in the left field wall.
But I do have some good news for you guys.
Venezuela won again.
