Just wanted to check, everyone starts with a clean slate in the World Cup right? i.e if your on a yellow from a previous friendly, a yellow in the first match won't mean suspension will it?

YC from friendlies don't count.
YC from WCQ do count but FIFA normally wipes the slate clean before the WC. In the past RC suspensions due to WCQ games were not lifted.

In the past RC suspensions due to WCQ games were not lifted.Unless you were Uruguay going into the Intercontinental playoffs with AUS. The last time in 2001, FIFA wiped all their YC's before that playoff, even though technically the games were still in the WCQ series of games. :( This time around in 2005, FIFA kept Ururguay's YC's active. :confused:
