"I never smile if I can help it.... Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life."
Well here's what I found: ;)
Many studies indicate that smiling is an innate reaction, as children blind from birth, and even human fetuses smile; however feral children generally do not smile, perhaps lending evidence to the contrary, perhaps indicating the profound psychological disturbance that results in a member of a social species brought up with no elders or peers.

Anyone has any hotel recommendation in London? Looking for something cheap but don't want to stay in hostels.

Define cheap, cuz not much there really is.

Good luck with that. I stayed at what I'd consider a 1-2 star hotel my first 2 nights and was paying between $150-200, a night. The beds sucked, but at least the breakfast was edible and free.
I'd check out Hotels.com and cross those fingers.

I'm a little bored and procrastinating so I looked some up for you.
I'm not sure when you were planning on going, but in April, there are quite a few for 1 person at around 90$ they look to be 'ok' 3 stars on hotels.com but that doesn't mean much.
The ones I saw were around hyde/Bayswater which is a decent area with a few pubs and access to tube a good walking distance if its where i think these places were, I've stayed around there. Probably around where you should want to look for the cheap stuff. Or maybe near Victoria station/Piblico there are also a few cheap places near there.

Caring Hotel in Bayswater. I stayed there last month. It was right at $100/night. Decent size rooms, located close to Paddington and Bayswater tube stations, nice and clean.

there is a pub near Paddington (on London St) called The Sussex Arms that had 1.49 pints last time I was over. it was the first stop every night out to get boozed up on cheap beer

Going to Aspen for a week over Spring Break, have a friend who lives there. I don't ski or any of that garbage, but is there anything else I should see/do etc while I'm there? Never been before. Also, any good bar/pubs around that area?

Get drunk. I'm sure there are good bars. Sorry I have nothing good to contribute.
Good Day.

For those that have been to Europe, rate these cities in terms of which ones you would want to see again the most:
Rome
Berlin
Barcelona
Madrid
Vienna
Munich
Paris
Athens
Those that haven't been to these places can just guess. :D

Out of those I have only been to Paris. And I did not like it. So....
Here are the places I would want to visit in the following order.
Barcelona
Vienna
Athens
Rome
Madrid
....
....
....
....
Paris
In reality, except for Barcelona, I could care less about the rest of these places.

I've been to Paris twice and I love it. The people are very nice, the city is beautiful and easy to navigate and the women are hot. I will be going back to Paris again this year.

Yeah, I'll be in Dublin until mid-May, unless United find a way to the CL final, which in that case I'm going to do my best to get over to Athens for a few days.
When are you going to be over again?

Athens is overrated. Outside of the Acropolis it's less exciting then you would think.
Paris is one of the most Beautiful cities I've ever seen. Lot's to do and see. The people suck but what do you expect you're in France.
Rome combines culture, fashion, food, and history. Not to mention the women are hot.
Those are the only 3 of the ones you've mentioned that I've been to. I'll say that I heard Berlin and Vienna are both nice. I personally really want to get to Barcelona someday soon.

I should mention that I only put Paris on that list because it's a major European city. There is no chance I'm going there because I hate the French. Carry on.
