Leaving today!!!! :D
Arrive in London, chill there for a few days, don't care what we do or where we go, cuz all I'm doing is biding my time til Saturday. Taking the train out to Manchester early for the game, and then taking the tour on Sunday. Heading back to London Sunday night and then back to the states on Monday.
FYI, only 10 shopping days until my 30th! Avoid the rush, go now!

Oddly enough, I'll be there myself in about 25 hours to catch a flight for a business trip. :D

Well then, maybe you should get an early start to make sure you have enough time to get through security. ;)
The weather here sucks.

Just a bit. The sun has made itself visible only to be hidden again atleast 5 times today. I wish it would just make up its mind. :D
Here are my initial pics and vids on photobucket. I'll be adding to them all the time while I'm here.

Well all I can say is "Wow"
London was great and all, had a wonderful time there, but Old Trafford, I mean, Jesus. I didn't stop smiling the whole time I was in the stadium, although there was a slight tremor when Villa scored.
Walking up the steps to the seats, I could feel my heart beating like nothing I've experienced before. As I saw that green hallowed ground open up and heard the roar of the crowd, I was simply awestruck. We were seated very close to the Villa fans, but luckily the corner that Park and Carrick ran to when they scored. AND I SAW CARRICK'S FIRST GOAL FOR UNITED LIVE!!! Only 76,077 other people can say that. :)
The next day we took the tour, and you'll notice that in all my pictures I'm smiling, only cuz I wanted to be different than Achtung. ;)
Tried to get a few different pics than what everyone else has up here. Hopefully I'm the first to show the LUHG spraypainted in front of OT.
Here's a few of the pics. http://s96.photobucket.com/albums/l184/FIFARay007/England/ More will come soon and be posted here and prolly under the Happiness thread.

Wow great pics Ray. I am very very jealous of you :) in a good way of course. Man you're so lucky.
I may be going to Ghana this summer to work in a children's orphanage teaching the children conversational English as well as other community volunteering. I really hope I go this summer.

I've always wondered something about that.
I've heard that people go other countries to teach English, including the Far East. However, if you don't speak their language, how can you teach them English?

It's a month long trip so we have the first 7 days learning their language as best we can. It is not a lot of time to learn a language and I doubt I would be able to, but it is better than nothing. Plus we would only be teaching them conversational English, we wouldn't actually take them into the classroom and teach them all the specifics.

Nice pics. I see you had the same seats I had for the Wigan match...the only bad thing about the match for me was that all the United goals were scored on the other end of the pitch making it kinda hard to see. Oh, and most of my pics from the match came out blurry.

Awesome pictures. Alas no camera can capture the true awesomeness of the Old Trafford experience. :)
